The Micro Howler is a smaller sized open reed howler that will do howls, raspy ki yis and pup talk. It is a higher pitched howler overall. It is made completely by hand one at a time and uses no off the shelf parts. Each call is a one-off item meaning no two are exactly alike.This howler features a back pressure relief hole in the toneboard that allows raspy barks when covered but smoother howls when uncovered. This is done with your bottom lip and with a bit of practice becomes second nature and very easy to do. You can howl smoothly or you can introduce breaks in the howl at will.
